Studying for the bar can be a grueling process—one that you’d prefer to avoid repeating, if possible. To maximize your chances for success, you’ll need to make preparedness your priority. Whether you’re a first-time Uniform Bar Exam (UBE) taker or trying again, a professional tutor can help elevate your bar exam prep to the next level.
Here are several reasons you should consider reserving your Pieper Bar Review Tutor, today:
Give your study plan a boost.
If you are enrolled in a full bar review course, a tutor will supplement your classroom learning. If you don’t have time for a full course, but still want to ensure you are a competitive candidate on bar exam day, a tutor can help bring you up to speed.
Tutors are an especially popular solution among students retaking the exam who don’t always necessarily have the resources to make the same time and financial commitments they did the first time around. Working with a tutor is the less time intensive and more financially flexible route.
Ace your essays.
Writing comprises 50% of the UBE. Therefore, doing it well is essential to passing. To help sharpen your essay-writing skills, your Pieper tutor will provide meticulous critiques upon reviewing your mock Multistate Essay Examination (MEE) assignments ahead of the exam, and track your improvement throughout sessions.
Keep your study schedule on track.
Scheduling time with a tutor can help stave away the urge to put off until tomorrow what you know you should be doing today. If you have a tendency toward procrastination, a commitment with a third party may impart a sense of accountability, and ultimately, help keep your study schedule moving along at a desirable pace.
Optimize your time.
We’ve all been there: You’ve studied as hard as you could for a big exam, only to be tested on information that you did not study. Is there any worse feeling?
Wasting your time learning irrelevant material during bar exam prep can be catastrophic. When you work with a Pieper tutor, you can be confidant you’re studying only the material that will actually be tested on the Uniform Bar Exam. Our tutors have mastery experience with the exam, so they know when it is worthwhile to spend hours committing a rule of law to memory, and when your time could be better spent elsewhere.
Hone your Multistate Bar Examination (MBE) tactics.
Many people are liable to freeze when confronted with an exam question that seems to have multiple reasonable answers. Not you, though. Working with a Pieper bar exam tutor will teach you new strategies for sizing up multiple-choice questions, so you can stay calm and cool on exam day.
